Shabby Chic

Shabby Chic is something I stumbled on by accident. I was surfing craigslist looking for furniture for my new apartment and came across a coffee table labled as Shabby Chic. I was curious and when I looked I loved what I saw! Needless to say the coffee table is now in the center of my living room. Shabby Chic is either choosing furniture or old items for their old and used look. Not meaning old and run down but choosing the antique vintage look. Or taking a new item and painting it and distressing it to give it an antique look. It gives your items a warm, been loved look to them.
